Career Insights

I am working on addressing the photophysics and device physics of new materials for photon to electron conversion – targeting both solar cells (solar energy conversion) and photodetectors (sensors). Although my research is focused on fundamental scientific studies, the overall research area is very interdisciplinary, requires expertise ranging from materials synthesis to functional applications. I am very fortunate to have such a great multidisciplinary working environment and world-leading research platform across HKUST including both our new Guangzhou and Clear Water Bay campuses!
